I wouldn't say they were unique but then I quite like mad shoes. They look quite normal to me tbh. Not mad on the front flap button style from above, but yeah side angle they look ok I guess.

K, you asked for votes.

They're ugly.

TeeCee · 02/01/2007 21:46

Oh I missed that they were recycleable - that makes them more appealing.

Twiglett · 02/01/2007 21:46

they look like the kind of things shawaddywaddy would wear

JackieNo · 02/01/2007 21:46

I love the idea of them, but don't like the way they look (I think it's the buttons), sorry.

controlfreakyturkeyandstuffing · 02/01/2007 21:48

no..... they are way beyong ugly.... they are approaching hideous.....

ballbaby · 02/01/2007 21:48

I like them but for me make the bottom bit dark brown. Then I'd defo buy them. They look really comfy as well.

handlemecarefully · 02/01/2007 21:48

I'm not mad keen on them - but we look at things from our own style perspective and I don't feel young and funky enough to carry those off atm. Probably would have loved them when I was younger

GhostOfMumsnet · 02/01/2007 21:48

Liking those!

TeeCee · 02/01/2007 21:49

Yeah it's the buttons I'm not digging

nikkie · 02/01/2007 21:53

I like them ?
Can't afford them though, I need something tlike that atm too

brimfull · 02/01/2007 22:43

I like them.

zippitippitoes · 02/01/2007 22:43

I think I like the comfort and the recyclable bit..just the thought of wearing old car seats and t shirts on my feet is very appealing and I have wide feet! But no bunions.

I didn't think they would appeal to the stylemasters!

yep like them, although not sure about the buttons. would wear them though.

ScummyMummy · 02/01/2007 23:02

Prefer the laced ones.

FullOfTestosterone · 02/01/2007 23:11

I looove these !

Thanks for the link to the site, love the idea of being able to buy more shoes without feeling so guilty!

tangerineinthetoeofmysock · 02/01/2007 23:11

I love them - but then I love terra plana shoes, you should check out their website, just google 'terra plana' as I'm too tired to do a link!! I particularly like their heeled shoes, really cute and pixie-like as they're sewn together without glue, very environmentally friendly! I'm a sad obsessive and can't wait for their spring collection!

tangerineinthetoeofmysock · 02/01/2007 23:16

Oh go on - here's a link - have a look at \link{http://terraplana.com/shoe.aspx?code=TPDOL009\these - really cute for everyday wear at the office!

tangerineinthetoeofmysock · 02/01/2007 23:18

I meant these

CountessDracula · 02/01/2007 23:20
