Meeting Boyfriends friends for the first time. Help me figure out what to wear!

I am going to be meeting my new boyfriends friends this week at a birthday party of one of his friends 2 year old daughter. I am really keen to make a good impression and I am fretting about what I should wear. Its a little tricky because I want to look really good, but I need to be casual because its a little kids party. Any ideas on what I should wear, and how I should do my nails, makeup and hair?

What is your style normally?

To this I'd probably wear skinny jeans and a chunky knit jumper, or slouchy fine knit one. Tousled hair, loose or in a messy up-do, natural make up and heeled ankle boots.

Don't look like you've tried too hard! I think I'd wear skinny jeans, knee high flat boots, a long cardigan and a vest top. Hair down and make up light.

Nice jeans, suede Chelsea boots and a nice daytime top or fine merino jumper
