Leg warmers..........yuk

Had a quick look in shops today.
Found leg warmers...took me back to the 80's.
Never found them attractive.
What do you think....
Are they in or out?

well out for adults I think but DD wears them under her pants etc or if she is playing around in cloth nappies and they look quite cute..lol

NOOOOOOOOOOOO.

I used to wear them to warm up at the barre in ballet, as they helped stave off my horrid Achilles tendonitis.

Everytime I see them, I associate them w/Achilles tendonitis.

Ouch.

they were naff in the 80s

they are naff now

they will still be naff in 10 years time or whenever they next come back into 'fashion..'

LOL our aerobics class had a 'Fame' routine going on and we were all asked (for a laugh you understand ) to bring legwarmers, headbands and thongs to wear outside our trousers.

Was very funny, the grey (we all had grey ones, it was all they had in Primark) legwarmers looked ridiculous especially as most of us were trying to wear them over bootleg trousers. I personally resembled a farmer.

I have however kept them because I think they would be cosy underneath bootleg jeans on a cold day.
