Facial oil followed by an oil free moisturiser

Would this be counterproductive?

So I'm loving my clarins lotus oil and was thinking of wearing my oil free neutrogena moisturiser afterwards. But I was wondering if this would be counterproductive. I simply can not find a moisturiser that suits me but the clarins oil is great. So I thought the oil free moisturiser on top might work but then it occurred to me it might negate the effects of the oil?

Any thoughts or experience of this combination and its long term effects?

It wouldn't negate the effect of the oil. If I use a serum with oil, I tend to use an oil-free moisturiser, or one with oil with a water-based serum. The moisturiser is really just sealing everything in. Carry on Wink
