Stumbled upon this dress on the Selfridges website - I wasn't actually looking for a dress but it popped up in my search:

Terry towelling patchwork and a snip at £357! No wonder the model didn't want her face shown.

For £357 I'd want shoulders in it. And even then I'd only pay £3.57 for that...thing.

MitzyLeFrouf · 04/02/2016 13:02

Sheesh!

It's like one of those smocks that God fearing modest sorts used to use to wear on Irish beaches in the 1980's. They'd use them to change out of their clothes and into their swimming togs without showing the merest hint of a sinful white arse cheek.

ChopOrNot · 04/02/2016 14:14

Fuck me. No redeeming features about it at all!

AnneLovesGilbert · 04/02/2016 14:15

Yuck. Who would buy it?!

handslikecowstits · 04/02/2016 14:15

Looks like a lampshade.

babyconverse · 04/02/2016 14:17

Looks like something Eddie in Ab Fab would have worn...

burnishedsilver · 04/02/2016 15:49

Is it for when you get out of the shower?

Gunting · 04/02/2016 16:48

Burn it

WitchWay · 04/02/2016 17:05

I don't get the no shoulders thing with those batty sleeves. Perhaps it's *one size doesn't fit anyone fits all-- & the model's a size 8

Yikes. I was in Selfridges today actually as I had a £100 gift card to spend and it really depressed me. Nothing nice - all super high end designer so would have needed a £1000 gift card and a body transplant. Or v expensive end of high street (Sandro, Maje) where everything was cheap-looking and tiny. Ended up buying some stuff from the Cos concession so could have been anywhere really.

Whereas I am quite happy with a John Lewis shopping trip - they have brands that suit me better (Hobbs, Whistles, Jaeger, plus some other interesting ones). I guess I am more John Lewis than Selfridges Grin

Looks like they've used up the remnants from Per Una's latest offerings, utterly hideous.
