3/4 yr old Boys' trousers with adjustable waist

DS is 3.5 and needs 3-4yr old trousers (or jeans or joggers) for length but 18-24mths on the waist. He just had a growth spurt and looks like an urchin so I've had to get rid of the few 2-3yrs jeans that were sort of acceptable and I need to get more. Next are the only ones I can find with those tabs and buttons inside the waist. Any trousers I see with what look like drawstrings are just decorative. I need to go on a hunt at the weekend, where should I hit up?

I always needed adjustable waists for my boys. Tesco used to be my go to place, nearly every pair of bottoms are adjustable.

I have to buy these for DS. I've had them from Tesco, Asda, Next and Peacocks.

He's 9 and can still fit into his 5-6 yo shorts.

I find most do. I bought some from gap recently and even with the adjustable Austin they were huge and falling down.

H&m are good for length of legs. Also vetbaudet do different widths.

I have bought those adjustable waist trousers from Sainsburys before but primark are the best. They do Slim fit cords with the adjustable waist. Once he is in school trousers Next do a slim fit school trouser which is fab

Brilliant, thanks all, I should be able to get to a few of those recommended in the next few days. We've been really lucky that up to now a friend has been giving us mountains of cast offs, so I'm clueless about where to buy for a boy!

Polarn o pyret for skinny boys.

Vertbaudet definitely. They come in three sizes. The skinny ones were too skinny for my dd who is slight!
