Dressy flat shoes

Hi, I'm a towering stiletto heel kind of girl. But I have recently broken my back. I'm going out for dinner with my husband to a fancy pants restaurant in a couple and would have been wearing a lovely little black dress with some gorgeous heels. Clearly now the heels are out of the question. So how do I make myself look and feel glam in flats? Friend suggested sparkly flat shoes and hubby suggests some pretty flat boots. I'm not sure how they will look? I'm I my 30's, 5'10 and a size 8-10 ..... Any styles you think might work?

The trouble with Russell & Bromley is that everyone has them! If you have anything distinctive or not distinctive from here you will see them on lots of other people. That said - they still have a very good and wide selection of flat shoes- this link is to the dress flats.

feesh thank-you. Those look amazing. Bookmarked, as my current sandals are wearing out (and, yes, I'm in sandals in Jan, cause it rarely gets cold enough to need more). Can't decide if I should risk free world wide shipping, or hold off til the next time I go home.

Where do you live Desert? I'm guessing from your username that you're probably not a million miles away from me....I buy mine in the Gulf if that's any help to you!!

Zara can be really good for a nice pointy smart flat! I feel your pain though, am in similar position myself. Lovely New York style thin flat fitted black suede boots can look great with mini skirt though... Have sadly just run the sigurson Morrison ones I got from Outnet three years ago into the ground and can't afford to replace full price...Sad
