Breasts getting in the way of my otherwise stylish aspirations

I have large breasts but I need to go for a fitting as I suspect I'm wearing the wrong size anyway, but a lot of the clothes that I like just don't suit someone with large breasts. I have a slim waist and hip but it's really getting me down that I have to dress to look appropriate for my breasts rather than what I would choose iyswim. It's not like I want to be out there wearing boobtubes or whatever I'd just like to look good wearing for example tailored shirts or tops - that sort of thing. Also blazers, I get them a size bigger but then look like I've gone out in my dad's ill-fitting suit.

I have the same problem. I'm like a little tank sometimes (short and busty).

Marking place in case anyone has any solutions! DH doesn't get why I'm bothered by it. I hold out hope that once I have stopped breastfeeding it may improve.

Bravissimo for a fitting, and their clothing range Pepperberry for clothes that fit! It's pricey, but definitely worth it. They have clothes that will fit your waist and your boobs, lots of different styles

I do agree that we have certain limitations. Some things are not flattering (turtlenecks, cropped boxy tops and floaty blouses) and anything clingy or with lower neckline can look too provocative instead of stylish.

There are places that do tailored shirts for bigger boobs, Pepperberry and BiuBiu for example.
For blazers, try on button blazers, and the button has to be quite low, so around your waist and not under the bust. A little bit of stretch in the fabric won't hurt either. I also have some jersey/ponte blazers that are very flattering, like this type:

at 4 foot 11 size 12/14 with 30G boobs I feel your pain! Even more so as, in my teens and early 20s I was a petite size 8 with 28B boobs and could wear pretty much anything I liked. Not sure why or how they got so big, but it happened before I even had children. I have come to accept that I can only wear things that define my waist as I look like a weeble in anything else! I can't buy anything off the internet - everything has to be tried on to see if it fits properly and all coats, jackets etc have to be altered. I don't ever wear shirts as I have never found one that doesn't gape and they don't suit my style anyway. In my opinion it is very hard to dress casually when you're my shape. I wear a lot of dresses (can't get along with jeans at all) and things like small wrap-around coats and trenchs.

Same problem. I'd love to wear skinny jeans but I look too top heavy. When you realise that attractive women like Kelly Brook and Christina Hendriksen wouldn't look good in skinny jeans either you just have to suck it up and wear dresses and skirts more. For coats I found the buttonless ones from Zara have been a godsend. Loads of fabric at front and no gaping.

For sports, my panache sports bra has been as good as everyone says.
