You could try prenatals too, they've always done wonders for my hair and nails. Just don't let anyone see you take them or they'll jump to all sorts of conclusions!

A pot of jelly a day does wonders for my hair and nails.

Not done it for a while, and I look a mess.

Perfectil hair and nail vitamins worked wonders on my hair (but did nothing for my awful nails). I think Tesco sell them.

Cuttysarky · 22/01/2016 09:48

The pregnanacare breast feeding vitamin pack which includes an onega 3 oil capsule, around £15 for 30 days worth, so very expensive, but made my skin clear, hair glossy and strong, was a really significant change!

Cuttysarky · 22/01/2016 09:48

Pregnacare, not pregnanacare...

Flaxseed oil is great. We cialky for a vegetarian who doesn't want to take cod liver oil!

the last poster's phone has garbled what was said, but be aware that there is evidence re veg-sourced omega-3; it's nowhere near as useful as fish sources.

if you've got scattered follicles nothing you eat will change that. Do you eat a proper varied diet of real food?

Tate15 · 22/01/2016 10:13

Sorry! I had a mouthful of flaxseed oil! ;)

I've found it to be good.
