Is it VERY wrong to have 4 pairs of shoes and 5 pairs of boots that I have never worn?

I even forgot about 2 of them

lol, yes.. wear at least one pair today or put them on ebay

expatinscotland · 21/12/2006 10:30

Absolutely not. It's like getting new shoes all over again.

MrsBadger · 21/12/2006 10:33

what size are you? I'll take them off you're hands if you're a 6.5-7...

marymillington · 21/12/2006 10:34

depends why you haven't worn them

if you never will wear them, pass them on or sell 'em

ComeOyeFaithfulVeneer · 21/12/2006 10:35

I have several I've never worn. I have a bit of a fetish when it comes to shoes and indulged in some serious retail therapy last year in america.

MamaG · 21/12/2006 10:36

I have a huge box in my closet thing full of shoes and boots, was rooting around looking for party shoes and found all these.

I have loads of shoes and boots, but seem to wear the same 6 or 7 pairs over and over.

Am gleefully wearing new pair today

I am NOT giving them away or selling them. They're mine, all mine!

tut tut MamaG! give the older ones away here!

ComeOyeFaithfulVeneer · 21/12/2006 10:39

Ah a woman after my own heart. When we move I will have a much bigger wardrobe so will be able to have my shoes out of the boxes so will be more likely to wear more of them then the 2 or 3 I currently rotate.

MamaG · 21/12/2006 10:40

I can't, I can't. I had a clearout last year and when Summer arrived, happily went to my box only to find I'd been a bit too ruthless. I still mourn a pair of sequinned flip flops and some purple suede boots

Don't give them away!

Finding unworn shoes is like finding money - a little unexpected treat.

I have two pairs I've never worn. But they are lovely and htey are mine, mine, mine.

MamaG · 21/12/2006 10:42

it is exactly like finding money

ooh cov, this rented house we've moved into has a huge dressing room. every wardrobe has a pull-out, double height, double row shoe rack. i have more space than shoes

MamaG · 21/12/2006 10:43

You MUST rectify this immediately - it will look messy if it has big gaps in it

OP posts:
Ceolas · 21/12/2006 10:45

Yes, very wrong. I don't even own 4 pairs of shoes and 5 pairs of boots!

I'm in love w/the Voda Bar court shoes in Schuh just now.

They're totally impractical, but I think they need to be mine.

MamaG · 21/12/2006 10:48

can you link? I don't have a Schuh near me

OP posts:
expatinscotland · 21/12/2006 10:52

Try this, but it didn't work properly when I tried it on another site. They're Voda Bar Court shoes.

iwanttheseshoessanta

expatinscotland · 21/12/2006 10:52

Nah, it's only linking to their home page .

MamaG · 21/12/2006 10:56

Found em. they are fantastic in red

OP posts:
expatinscotland · 21/12/2006 10:57

They look even better for real. They're sitting just up the road . . . waiting for me.

Red, green or brown? Oh, what a choice!

MamaG · 21/12/2006 10:58

hmm - red and green are festive, brown is practical. Could I tempt you to buy all three?

OP posts:
MamaG · 21/12/2006 10:58

posibly not at £50 a pop!

OP posts:
Ceolas · 21/12/2006 10:59

I can't find them expat. How do I get there from the home page?

MamaG · 21/12/2006 11:01
