Help me style this skirt?

I got this lovely swishy circle skirt from the sale rack at Matalan for £4. Bargain! I want a navy or royal blue merino jumper (or possibly 3/4 length sleeved fully buttoned cardigan) to wear with it, but I didn't have the time/inclination to go hunting, so I'm working with what I own. No special occasion, just want to wear it and look nice. What are your thoughts on these options?

A) orange jumper
B) white blouse under short sleeved navy loose-knit jumper
C) white blouse on it's own
D) white blouse under denim jacket t-shirts type thing

Or maybe tucked in orange jumper

I like your shoes. They give your legs a nice shape.

Try sales or eBay for your navy merino jumper. Maybe even a charity shop or uniqlo.

I think a fitted one would look nice. If you don't mind synthetic or partly then Louche (Joy the store) do nice fitted cropped cardigans and should have a navy one.

The jumper isn't fitted enough to create a smooth silhouette when I properly tuck it in. I also attempted to wear the skirt higher up and felt ridiculous. Wearing it low on my waist with the jumper bloused out a bit looks better to me.

I like the second photo but still think white shirt is best. As you've got a nice figure if the shirt is too smart I'd get a tightish long sleeve scoop neck top

I think it looks best high on the waist, but with a shirt underneath. (Option c?)

It highlights your slim waist (if you've got it, flaunt it) and the flowyness of the skirt.

I wore it yesterday with the orange jumper tucked in, high waist. I wore the denim jacket over top with a lacy white scarf (was in a chilly building). Nobody pointed and laughed, so I must not have looked a fright!

Yes A is nice and more so slightly tucked with a high waist.

Do you have any button down shirts that you could wear like this tied at the waist with a cami underneath.
