I've looked at a few recommended in beauty articles/ blogs but always worried they are just promoting them for the £££.

Anything you guys could recommend?

Luna is just ridiculous in price when you consider what you can get actual Retin A for a fiver. But then Sunday Riley is another brand with much blogging activity and utterly Shock prices for average human beings. It doesn't cost that much to make and frankly there's only so much you can do to skin.

To my mind Retin-Oil is a real sleeper product price and efficacy wise.

SR prices are sillly wolpertinger. I got some good size samples last year (Good Genes and Luna) through a friend.

Thought they smelled nice (if a bit synthetic) and worked ok, then went to look at prices and was Shock. DH got me some Flora as a Xmas present as he had seen the samples lying round and likes giving a thoughtful surprise gift. I was a bit Confused and didn't want to say as it was really thoughtful of him and he did spend a lot on it but they really are a triumph of marketing and packaging over performance, especially at those prices.

Lovely, many thanks. I'll definitely signup to Deciem's newsletter then! Regarding Deciem's founder, he's quite the entrepreneur. I'm not 100%sure it's him that does all the tech Q&A but I can see from his company that there are a number of scientists on board.
