Jaeger Outlet - and more bargains

I got the three button semi cocoon grey coat today and it is exquisite. Massive bargain for less than £60 for a £400 coat. I am a size 12-14 and went for the size 14 and it is nice and slouchy without being huge. Roomy enough to take a thick roll neck underneath without spoiling the line of the coat. Seriously recommend it.

Also good is the rhinestone bracelet. It is really beautiful. The stones are a champagne taupe colour and glisten yet don't look Christmas cracker-ish.

I have ordered this this now as there is another 40% off deal so it has taken it below the £50 mark. Will report back.

Why has no one told me about Jaeger outlet before? My husband got loads of great stuff too.

Next actually have something nice in stock that is good quality 😮. I bought a charcoal cotton shirt dress that is nice and thick and works on my non-existent waist figure. It has washed well so I have ordered it in the green too. Looks great with the half pleather leggings hobbies and ankle boots and is cut well. True to size this one.

I found coat true to size - but had to shorten sleeves so you may well be ok

SuckingEggs · 07/01/2016 23:02

I bought a jacket, a wool coat and a dress from there. Beautiful! All thanks to S&B.

littlepig I bought a Jaeger Outlet coat before Xmas, different style, but it fits fine and I'm the same height as you.

Actually I think I tried on the style you're looking at in TK Maxx and it was fine too Smile

Behooven · 08/01/2016 12:26

I've used it for years but was too selfish to share

Littlepig8834 · 08/01/2016 15:40

amazonianwoman Thank you! May treat myself and order, will also pop to my local TK Maxx to see what they have to offer, always forget about there when it comes to coats.

I've just received a huge haul (3 boxes worth Blush) and am really pleased with all the tops and the jumper I ordered, plus the slim leg style jeans which could have been made for me. I'm sending back the formal trousers as they're all too big (the silk ones I could actually take off without undoing them!) and the dresses as they were a bit frumpy, but on the basis of what I bought this time I have now placed another order for yet more stripey tops, a skirt, 3 more pairs of the jeans and a cashmere/wool cardigan reduced from £120 to £29!!! I'm keeping the camel funnel neck coat because it just feels so lovely, even though it's not my usual style. I wasn't keen when I got it out of the box but when I put it on it just feels really luxurious and it will go (crucially) with both smart and casual outfits, so it's a keeper.

I am in love with this site. I have just told DH that we might be bankrupt soon.

Behooven · 08/01/2016 16:23

Tk maxx, secret sales and brand alley websites often have Jaeger items at the same price as the outlet btw.

ThatsHowYouGetAnts · 08/01/2016 16:32

What's the sizing like on the jeans emsyj?

emsyj · 08/01/2016 17:26

I'm a 14 in trousers in most places but ordered a 12 and they're perfect. The formal trousers are noticeably larger cut IMO - I got the black crepe wide leg ones and they are huge on the waist, the silk overlay trousers were falling down and the side zip ones were hideous large too.

helzapoppin2 · 08/01/2016 17:30

I'm sighing with relief that the clothes sizes are big, because so am I!

ThatsHowYouGetAnts · 08/01/2016 18:30

Thanks, might have another look if any are left Smile

VagueIdeas · 08/01/2016 21:40

Good shout!

I just ordered this leather/wool jacket. £600 to £90:
www.jaegeroutlet.com/Leather-and-Melton-Jacket/570022J,en_GB,pd.html

Hope I like it, I love a bargain,

Behooven · 08/01/2016 21:50

I have a leather biker jacket vague different style to yours but the leather is just gorgeous

LexLoofah · 10/01/2016 14:23

so I my order has arrived and I only saw the comments about sizing after I had placed the order, everything is too big and has to go back, sigh. The cords were also too baggy in the waist so no point ordering next size down, the ones I have from ASOS fit much better anyway. Had better actually go into a shop methinks

margaritasbythesea · 13/01/2016 19:02

I sent my trousers back too. If they want to sell things they should add a note on how the sizing comes up.

cirrusblue · 13/01/2016 19:17

I ordered the semi-cocoon coat. Came up well too big - but there was a size guide on the page (I am in between sizes and the sizes down were sold out.) However when the coat came I was rather taken aback at how thin and flimsy it was. I wonder whether Jaeger make the goods for the outlet at the price point they sell it for, rather than the higher figure quoted, and, like TK Maxx, you have to take the upper pricing figures with a pinch of salt.

Beautydiva · 13/01/2016 19:22

I also sent back cocoon coat as it was huge.
How long do they take to refund the money ?? It's been more than a week and still waiting Hmm

Crusoe · 13/01/2016 21:51

I sent a dress back as the small looked like a tent - I am a 10/12. Refund came through the day after they would have received the dress back.

ivejusthadacake · 14/01/2016 17:18

Thanks for the tip- just ordered a little bag @ a total bargain price.

VagueIdeas · 14/01/2016 17:47

The wool/leather jacket arrived yesterday and I really like it. Couldn't understand the £600 price tag until I saw the "Made In Great Britain" label. That explains it.

I ordered two sizes and the smaller fit better. My mum took the other one because she can't resist a bargain either!
