Skin care for 9 yr old with spotty, blotchy and dry skin

I wasn't sure if I should put this question here or in health so bear with me.

My 9 yr old DD is upset about her facial skin. She has spots, mostly on her nose, which I have reasons to believe are due to a high level of androgens rather than early puberty. Her nose becomes quite red at times.

I bought her a Simple Spotless Spot Zapper for her nose. I think she may have overused it as her nose is now peeling - like she has sunburn. Meanwhile her cheeks have become rather blotchy (not related to the zapper)

I have worked hard to ensure that she is not conscious/worried about her looks but in recent weeks she has become quite upset about it so I feel that I need to help her to have the best skin care regime possible - although as someone who was the first (and probably the last) to have spots in her class, I'm not sure that it is really possible to beat your own hormones.

So, can anyone make some suggestions for gentle, effective, and preferably not too expensive skin care for DD?

TIA

Sudacreme? I use it all the time for any blemishes my family members have.
Works a treat. used it on the dog too for flea bites

Thanks for replying. We do have some in the bathroom and I think I have heard that it's good for spots. Thank you.
