I just mentioned them on another thread and felt all nostalgic. I don't think there's been a good S&B show since then. Ok the fashion might have been a bit grim at times but it was so fun to watch.

I loved T&S and have all the books!!! Blush

I'm not entirely convinced that Gok Wan actually gave a shite about his subjects, his 'warmth' seemed contrived to me.

I found both the T & S and Gok's books were v helpful in assessing your body shape and what styles work for you. I'm a big busted Apple so lots of ' fashionable' clothes just look ridiculous on me.

Destiny could I ask what you wear as I am the same shape as you ?

Destinysdaughter · 03/01/2016 23:11

Donge, I tend to wear fitted tee shirts/ tops with a v neck, scoop neck or sweetheart neck. I wear long flowing skirts or straight leg trousers ( to balance my top half and make me look more proportioned, less too heavy) in the summer I've found some maxi dresses work very well on me ( especially from Phase 8). Fitted cardis or jackets to give me a waist and some wrap dresses. I feel quite constricted in what I can wear and a lot of my clothes are variations on a theme. However, they work well fir me and I've resigned myself to the fact that a lot of fashionable clothes are not cut for my body shape. I've also had my colours done ( I'm an Autumn ), so I only wear colours that I know suit me.

Hope that helps!
