How can I hide my horrible fire? Need something stylish!

I really don't like the fire in my house, the actual surround is ok but the fire is hideous, how can I hide it? I thought about one of those fire screens but they are see through so a bit pointless.

No we don't use the fire - i don't even think it works.

the surround is nice - if you don't use it why not just take the fire out ?
