Can anyone recommend a mascara with visible lengthening / thickening of lashes?

I hope this hasn't been asked a million times but I'm after a mascara that visibly makes a difference to lashes. The ones I've tried so far are either clumpy or just don't really make that much of a difference.

Benefit They're Real mascara.. it's fab and you can really see the difference when you put it on.

Chanel Le Volume. The Rouge Noir one is a lovely colour too.

Saw a Wayne Goss youtube video where he said every make up artist wipes excess mascara off the brush with a tissue before applying, as it stops clumping. Tried it, and it does work to minimise clumping. Wiggle brush back and forward gently at roots for volume, then roll brush back and up along lashes for curl.

I know its a bit Marmite, but personally I swear by Younique fibre lash mascara. I don't get a clumping issue, but the tissue wipe thing sounds interesting so going to try that tomorrow, just in case.
