Just that really, think I prefer just the one strap but thought I'd canvas opinions from you lit before I take a knife to them.

Two!
One is more 'office/work' appropriate (I.e plain) but two is something different and looks great.

They're quite a lot 'bling-ier' than what I normally wear which is why I'm a bit dubious about 2 straps.
Looks like I'm in the minority though, thanks for the responses.

Score is 3 for one strap and 8 for two so I think I'll hold off slicing the little tab that keeps the top strap in place.
I'm going to be wearing them tomorrow with coated black skinnies anyway so the top strap might be covered up, but I think I'll keep the 2 strap option open for now.

They're lovely. It must be nice to have slender ankles. My legs are the same shape from thigh to foot. Not a good look!

Here is the linky for the ebay seller, if anyone is interested (but only small sizes left).

I was going to buy a silver pair from John Lewis or Mint Velvet but they were sold out, so I saved myself about £50*

*but will no doubt spend it on taxis cos I can't walk very far in heels

I'd have probably only worn them once then tossed them onto my huge pile of shoes that have had me begging total strangers for a piggy-back and will never see the light of day again. Easier to shrug it off if they only cost £15 Grin

Well, the thing is if they are already outside your accepted comfort zone then you have to just go for it with a double whammy. So 2 straps. In for a penny....
