Issues with quality of White Company Jeans

In the last year I have had two pairs of White Company jeans, skinny and boyfriend. Both pairs have quite literally fallen apart within a few months - the fabric at the packets, belt loops and crotch just seems to disintegrate.

I took a pair back this morning (bought two months ago, fit perfectly) I was told that I must have worn them excessively as they looked worn out and that they have never had any other complaints about the quality of their jeans. I pointed out that the jeans I am wearing are five years old and have been worn frequently and cost about the same but have only just started to wear out at the knees.

Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone else has had any issues with The White Company Jeans as I'm really quite miffed.

I came, I saw, I lurked. Similar problems with WC duvet cover. And I thought I'd try Fluffycloud's Just Linen tip. Ordered this morning and lovely customer service lady because I messed up to start with. To be delivered tomorrow! And 60% off. Well impressed so far

I think the White Company has teally gone down. They used to do lovely cotton jersey dressed but now they are sh1** viscose.
What a shame Chrissie.

I agree and it is such a shame. I used to spend a fortune in The White Company because the fabrics were all great quality natural fibres; wool, cotton, linen etc. In lovely designs.
Now there are very few pieces I will spend on and if I do only ever in the sales as that, frankly is all it's worth.
Heaps of polyester and viscose which bobbles and resembles a rag within about three wears. Primark is a more viable alternative for some basics now.
For goodness sake TWC if you are reading this, listen if you want to stay in business!

If, like me, you love(d) The White Company dresses in jersey and are now disappointed with them, an Irish retail chain called Dunnes Stores has a collection of clothing called - Carolyn Donnelly The Edit and these are similar, quite Cos like. They deliver to the UK I'd say.
Paul Costelloe also has a fashion and a homeware range for Dunnes. It's great too, as is their Savida range.
I have no connection to Dunnes at all, I just like nice clothes and nice things.
