she has long hair, been growing it for years, there are a couple of bits where she has done this before but underneath so i have just left them but now she has cut a massive chunk. It looks like half a fringe but really thick and far back. To turn it into a fringe would be difficult as I reckon its about 6cm from the front of her hair. Any hair experts got any bright ideas please, she will take a bit of persuading to let me get it fixed so I need to give her ideas first of what we could do. Ta

Keen to know as we have same issue
I'm thinking thick hair bands and clips

My DD did this leaving half a fringe about 1cm - it looked dreadful. Decent hairdresser sorted it out in a sort of elfin cap style which quickly grew into a really good style!

a few layers to blend it in a bit and it doesn;t look too bad.
