How to get a stain out of suede shoes?

Long story short: DH managed to get creme brûlée on my beautiful suede Jimmy Choos. Before I force him to cough up the better part of £400 to replace them, has anyone got any miracle cleaning techniques for suede?!

I have a dry cleaning stick made from french chalk that I used repeatedly, and brushed out after each application, to get olive oil out of a brand new suede sandal. It wasn't a total triumph but achieved a presentable result and saved the shoes. However, they were Varcas, not Jimmy Choos.

Well they can't get any worse at this stage! Thanks - will try that!

hold them over the kettle steam when it's boiling and brush lightly with an old toothbrush

if steaming , blot with absorbent paper . Chalk is good for brushing up suede.

I dripped sausage grease (classy, me) on my grey suede OTK boots. I attacked them with talc first (rub in, brush off to remove excess grease) then had a go with suede cleaning spray. It wasn't perfect - good enough for boots, but I'm guessing your Jimmy Choos are made from finer suede.

Worth a try, though but for sure your DH owes you another pair. Or two
