What shoes would I wear with this dress

here . I was thinking either black pixie boots or gold flatties. Would either of these work?

Nice dress. Wouldn't do pixie boots myself (but probably because I didn't like them first time round and not feeling the love there this time either). I think gold would be nice but I would be inclined to go for a heel for a bit of glamour or long black boots with a heel.

if the choice is flatties or pixie boots then it is flatties. no way pixie boots. but yes, there are other maybe nicer options out there.

Thanks everyone. Didn't want to go too OTT dressy with strappy sandals or anything cos I'm only wearing it to my mum's on Christmas day. I suppose I was trying to dress it down a bit. Maybe long black boots with a nice heel then? Trying to relive my youth with the pixie boots - too late now
