Hair salon treatment has left my hair lank and greasy looking- can I reverse it?

I had a Loreal treatment put on after my highlights yesterday but it has left my hair very flat and even a bit greasy looking. I washed it again today with my own shampoo but it's still the same. I feel like I need to dry it out somehow to get its 'oomph' back. Any ideas or do I just have to wait for it to wear off?

Anyone know about hair?

I don't have a clue, but could you ring them and ask?

Sorry no advice but I do think all those salon "treatments" are the biggest rip off ever.

Fairy liquid, I kid you not. I had a similar problem and both my normal shampoo and one a week clarifier did not touch it. Rinse wash repeat. Job done.

I came on to say washing-up liquid too.

Luckily I didn't pay for it. My hair was quite dry from about 1/2 way down due to months of bleach highlights so thought it was a good idea. Now my roots look greasy a few hours after washing. I was thinking of buying some Head & Shoulders which i hear strips your hair to get back to normal!

Ah, washing up liquid it might be then!
