Please help me decide what to do with my short curly hair.

I have thick, curly hair, which will go frizzy given half the chance. Up until a couple of years ago it was long, but I got fed up with the frizz and wanted a change so I had it cut much shorter. TBH I've never been happy with it since. It covers about half my ears and I try to define the curl with some frizz ease but I still feel a bit frumpy (am in my mid 40s). I don't really know what I want to do maybe a bit shorter, maybe a bit longer. Any suggestions gratefully received.

I don't find frizz ease great for curly hair. How do you style it? I get best results putting styling products in very wet hair and air drying or gently diffusing if I must.

I use a bit of frizz ease serum when it is wet, leave for a while then finish off with the dryer. I don't have a diffuser though. Any recommendations for something better than frizz ease?

I'd go slightly longer with curly hair, but with a few layers for shape. I'd also recommend half-drying your hair first, then styling and leaving to dry naturally, as frizz is more likely if you dry second IMO.

Boots curl cream is good and very cheap. Paul Mitchell Sculpting Foam is good too. You need something with a bit of hold to help your curls keep their shape. Frizz ease serum tends to give me slightly greasy frizz instead of dry frizz ha!
