Bargain purchase of the M&S advent calendar

I bought the M&S advent calendar at the weekend.
You need to spend £25 on beauty to be able to purchase it for £25.
However, not a lot of people realise that the original £25 spend is before any deductions.
I bought 2 items that were originally priced at £12.50 each. I added the advent calendar which came up at £200.
I added my sparks card which took off 20%.
They then totalled the till and the 2 original items were half price at £6.25 each.
I ended up paying just over £32 in total!
Bargain.

Bloody hell that is a bargain! What did you buy that came to £6.25 each?

Yes, I did similar. There was a 3 for 2 offer as well.

Is it still available to order?

I bought 2 shower gel sets that were originally £12.50 each but we're half price.
All discounts are applied after the till totals the purchase.
So as long as the price of the items totals £25 before any reductions then it's fine.
They have sold out on line but they had plenty in store.

Were they in the beauty section in store, I looked in my local one today but couldn't see any?

It was online very briefly, but sold out within a couple of days. I think some of the larger stores still have them.

Oh well, was a bit of a frivolous idea anyway, I probably have better things/people to spend money on this time of year but still....!!!! I really fancied one! Ho hum

I did the same. I was worried as it said in the small print of the advent calendar sign something about it cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers but I used 20% off and 3 for 2 on the beauty stuff I got and it all went through. Am quite excited about opening it now!
Was actually quite impressed with m and s beauty dept in London colney, loads of nice stuff, especially for gifts.

My Sparks card didn't have a 20% off offer when I bought mine. Oh well.

Yup, got a discounted ren gift set with free items in it and 20% off with sparks card.

My local store has sold out

There are some on eBay if anyone is still looking... Some very inflated prices but sone reasonable. I just bought one and am stupidly excited!

There are still loads left in the Kingston store. They are offering them at the tills.
