Christmas wedding - what to wear as a guest?

ChristmasEvePJs · 22/11/2015 22:31

A friend is getting married on December 30th and I am mid-diet/weightloss with no idea what to wear.

I am mid 30's, 5'5", size 16/18, busty with big tummy, decent legs, like my arms covered, brown hair, pale completion and not a fan of huge heels.

All ideas gratefully received. Thank you.

Not this.

Will look for a more sensible suggestion.

That's nice. Thank you.

I already have THIS that I got at easter and wore once. I am wondering if I could have this shortened and nipped in a little. Or would it look daft?

Low tack masking tape on the inside of the fabric to shorten it, clothes pegs at the back to nip it in and take some selfies.

Would wearing a black dress at this wedding be ok? Some people can be funny about it.

ChristmasEvePJs · 23/11/2015 00:34

Great idea, will try asap to see if it looks ok. The bride wears black a lot so not worried about that.

Would leave lots of budget for pretty shoes and a new bag!
