Poncho - would I get much wear out of this? Is this a good choice?

I really like the idea of ponchos but don't want to waste money on something I can't wear!

Is this one a good buy?

I tried it and found it slightly too short for me (so too much cold air could get in). For £20 more I bought the JL cashmere one: longer, better fabric, warmer. I love my mine.

I would get something more substantial.

I find some of these designs a bit shapeless ....like a rectangle of knitting with a hole for the head.

I think they're so shapeless and look amusing. Surely you could get a beautiful cashmere jumper for that moment which will look so chic compared to a poncho. JL and Pure do nice cashmere
