Can anyone help me find a nice dress for a party - maybe long?

I am looking for a ball-type dress that can also be used more casually. Preferably long sleeves, maybe a bit sparkly. Preferably rounded neck, not cross over or strapless. I am about 5 feet 6 inches.

another GC one - they come in lots of colours?
and another GC one - more drapey and you could get this shortened to extend it's life after the ball?

Oh my God, LOVE the Rosie Maxi dress. A bit £££ though as I have a cluster of parties this year in the next couple of weeks

The others but wouldn't really suit my body shape as much.

That one is such a classic shape but could look different with different accessories?

They seem to sell well on eBay too of that helps take the edge off the price (no Rosie ones listed at the moment though - did look)
