So I've managed to accidentally give myself the perfect hair colour...

How the fuck do I keep this up?

Died my brown hair Garnier Olia Deep Red and it was a disaster, didn't take to big parts of my hair despite two dyes.

In a panic, I put a Garnier Nutrisse mid-brown over the top to try and dampen it down and even it out and...

It's made the perfect rich chesnut brown.

Shall I just never wash my hair again so I can keep the colour? I can't do two dyes every six weeks...

Just wanted to comment that I had similar disaster woth Olia stuff. It went dead patchy and crap and I had to buy another ( probably Nutrisse) over the top too.

sounds good! can you post a picture (not your face of course)

Hastagwhatever · 14/11/2015 22:57

Could the two dyes be mixed next time?

Have you tried other things? I like a rich chestnut brown and my fave at the moment is casting creme gloss Chocolate Brownie.

i did that once,op. I got the worst bleach job and dyed it red in desperation and it came out a lovely golden light red. I never thought of trying for it again but i think you could.
