Bought this dress in black. Model is wearing a Small. The Medium is a 12 apparently so went for that (9st 3ish, size 10 almost everywhere, sometimes a 12, probably an 24 in Zara or Karen Millen).
The fucking zip won't even meet at the back never mind zip up

I'm not a size 14 FFS (was for years so know what I look like at a 14 - roughly 11st to be precise).
Am sending it back and not sizing up. Why do some brands just not honour their own size charts?
Also, has anyone seen any similar dresses? Black, tea dress style, preferably with sleeves, preferably not polyester, quite partial to showing a bit o cleave.
