White Company hydrocotton robe. Worth the money?

It's £75 quid. Even with the current 20% off, it's still pretty pricey.

White Company robe

I recently bought this from Debenhams, but after a few weeks one of the seams has started to come undone and is fraying, so will try to return it.

Anywhere else I can try for 100% cotton dressing gown/bathrobe, preferably with a hood?

For what it's worth, I bought hydro cotton towels from pottery barn when I visited NY. I use them to wrap my hair after washing. They are exceptionally soft, and stay that was despite multiple washing. They also absorb a lot of the water from it, more than normal towels. Up to you if you think it's worth it. Perhaps a Xmas pressie if you think it's too much of your own cash to spend on it?

Yes, definitely worth it. I have one. They come up quite big. I'm an 8-10 and have the xs size. It is by far the best dressing gown I have ever had. If you wear it every day, maybe twice, price per wear almost makes it a bargain.....

I wouldn't get it in white incase it got a bit grubby looking after a while. They have it in slate grey also.

Not hydro cotton but I have this one and love it

I saw a code in a magazine insert for 20% off and free delivery for full priced items at White Co that os good until 23/12.

You might want to google for code before buying.

I have it and it is the best dressing gown I've had. Keeps you warm without over heating and washes really well too.

BrilliantineMortality · 14/11/2015 15:45

Brilliant. Thanks everyone. Will go for it then using the discount. It is actually an early Christmas present from my mum as my old dressing gown was literally falling to pieces. Will obviously need to try to get a refund on the Debenhams one.

What size do you think I should go for? I am 5'9" and about a size 14.
