Just that really?

What do you prefer to pay for and what can you get by with doing your self.

I've started doing my own nails but my god they are awful I just can't do them the same??

I have HD brows done and pedicure's done.
Also have my root's touched up every 6 weeks and hair cut every 6 months.
I do bugger all to be honest!
Sometimes I straighten my hair!

i get roots done with a trim every six weeks. not a mani pedi kind of person but am going to save up for an Espa head, neck and back massage and then i had better feel amazing dammit

Hair cut.

Gel manicure maybe once a year.

That's it for me, everything else is done at home and I'm not interested in massages.

Just semi-perm lashes, everything else I do myself except maybe a massage once a year as a treat.

I colour my own hair every 8 weeks or so, get it cut every 4 months.
I do my own mani/pedi as I don't like gels and I dislike the gap most manicures have left between the colour and my cuticle, looks like it's grown out already.
Dh gives me a foot massage a couple of times a week.
I pluck my own brows and do my own facials (mask, cleanse and use oil to massage).
Dh and I go about twice a year for a spa break with full body massage and facial, it's lovely and a real treat.

I get my hair cut every six weeks at an Aveda salon, brows threaded every month, gel nails once a year (holidays) and that's it. I do my nails at home every few days, pedicure once a week, colour my own hair, and shave rather than wax. On a Friday night I have a bath and do a face mask, body scrub and shave, then a pedicure afterwards. I don't enjoy massages and had to make a choice between regular facials or finding a cheaper hairdresser a few years ago - really it was no contest because my hairdresser is so fab.

I have just started getting my brows threaded and I get my hair cut every 6-8 weeks. I do everything else myself.

Salon:

Manicure (weekly) & pedicure (fortnightly in summer, monthly in winter.) Far too much faff for me to be bothered with, although its an expensive habit. If I didn't go to a salon, I just wouldn't bother. Just can't be arsed.

Eyebrows threaded and upper lip waxed (monthly). I used to pluck/wax myself, but my sight has gone and I got fed up of arsing about with magnifying mirrors.

Home:

Colour my own roots. I just use a touch-up kit, as the grey comes through at the front every 4 weeks and I can't afford such regular hair salon trips.

I shave all my own bits myself Grin.

Hair (colour and cut) 6 weekly
Facial monthly
Eyebrows whenever needed

I need to throw in bikini waxing and nails again. I've slipped out of routine.
