Things I will never do again...

This is sort of inspired by the fact that I am shortly going on maternity leave and as a result of the "ashamed of my beauty product hoard" thread.

I've taken off my nail extensions today (properly!) I initially had them done a few years back for DSis's wedding, and then just kept going back. I can think of better things to spend money on now

I've also been working through my hoard of potions and lotions and I know that in some instances I've found my holy grail product but still I hunt the shelves of Boots/Space NK/John Lewis just in case something better, nicer has come along.

So the things I will never do again are:

  1. Have nail extensions. My own are not bad and with a bit of tlc will be just as good as false

  2. Buy yet another lipstick! I have 20+ lipsticks and have searched high and low for my MLBB shade. I've had it all along - Clinique Butter Shine in Pink-a-Boo.

Leggings and tunics and weirdly rounded off boots- hard stare at naturlista and rocket dog. I was either pregnant or breastfeeding for around 3 years! It was a look that was comfortable!

Cheap hair cuts. My shitty hair needs tlc.

No more primark. No!

  • No more pants that aren't granny pants, I love them so much. (Well, apart from special occasion sexy ones)
  • No more midriff baring tops. They make me cold.
  • No more leaving my eyebrows natural - they look 100,000 x better with eyebrow pencil on them
  • Wear dresses or skirts with really high slits in the back. Why do manufacturers make those? They look flattering on absolutely no-one and if you bend over a little or walk at all you get a big flash of top-of-tights
  • Buy cheap, very flat ballet pumps. They hurt my heels if they don't have some padding in
  • Blow dry my hair and step out in to a windy, damp day without covering it. Wearing a scarf over my hair in the morning may make me look like a twat but my hair remains silky smooth for the day
