Ok looks kinda average workwear. However avoid the advise to size down and it looks great with a pleather skinny.

Brilliant draping is very flattering over the waist.the v gives a hint of cleavage in a nice way and its long enough.

And it's cheap.

That looks lovely, I may have to venture into next tomorrow, what sort of shoes would you wear with those sparkly trousers, I can't wear heels? :(

BrendaandEddie · 08/11/2015 21:03

Those do look nice actually, I struggle with flats that aren't boots or trainers, I'll give those a whirl too, thank you!

BrendaandEddie · 09/11/2015 15:13

AHOY CAPTAIN. how did you get on? They are very thin on the ground indeed. I managed to get a 10 and 12 I'm going to put on eBay if you don't want them

the high waisted version was everywhere and I managed to ask an assistant for help who turned out to be just a member of the public Blush

Alright, alright. I've been very busy today. Stupid bastarding work and analysing pupil progress data has got in the way of getting near a real life shop or getting on Mumsnet.
I haven't had a chance to look on here since 06:52!! Damn you real life intruding on v important matters.

I think a 12 may be too small Brenda. But I don't think I can get to a shop until Thursday. The horror. Stupid parents' evenings.

captainflash · 09/11/2015 18:23

Sorry. I forget this is s&b and not the staffroom. No-one cares about pupil progress data and parents' evenings here. Envy

chanie44 · 09/11/2015 20:05

I really like the next drape top. I think I may order it. Thanks OP.

MikeSpilligan · 09/11/2015 20:23

Are the NL coated jeans stretchy in any way?
I have a couple of pairs of size 6 jeans from NL which fit me better than the size 8's due to their stretch but this doesn't apply to all new look trousers/jeans (or those from any other store for that matter! I'm in no way a true 6).

If they are stretchy may have to order just to see.

mrslebon · 09/11/2015 21:01

I like the look of the top. Is there enough 'give' in the drape to deal with a 6 months bump? I'm a 6 or 8 in most Next tops and I have maternity faux leather skinnies (yay!).

AuntieMaggie · 09/11/2015 21:30

I have that drape top in black and grey - I figured I could wear a long sleeve top under the short sleeve version if wearing it to work when it's cold.

I also ordered this one in red and black but I can't make up my mind if it's going to annoy me

Lilipot15 · 09/11/2015 22:31

Would that Next top in the OP work for breastfeeding? Looks like it should to me. I'm looking for tops which I can feed in but which will also last me past feeding (and don't look like feeding tops!)

BrendaandEddie · 09/11/2015 22:49

I dunno te breastfeeding. Or bumps. Nl trousers i sized up.

The long sleeve version came today. More TTS

captainflash · 10/11/2015 06:50

TTS? Is it a good one? I'm shopping vicariously through you all til I can go late night shopping on Thursday!

BrendaandEddie · 10/11/2015 06:52

Yup. The long sleeve one is less gapey drapey. But I only tried it on late last night.

Woo- I have just remembered there is a big Next nearby that stays open til 8pm. I might be able to get there later. And try on their leather look leggings (admittedly with the yucky side zip). I need to scratch this itch as planning this outfit is taking over too much of my time! The reality is probably going to be disappointing!

AuntieMaggie · 10/11/2015 13:30

Lilipot15 possibly good for breastfeeding as it's only sewn at the top so the overlap could be pulled to the side

Lilipot15 · 10/11/2015 13:51

Thanks - I might go and have a look

CremeDeSudo · 10/11/2015 13:54

Ooh this could be just the thing to wear with my blue glittery skirt to my works christmas party... Grin

BrendaandEddie · 10/11/2015 14:21

Yes. Think if you buy TTS would be good for bf
