I did the measurement and measure 28 around the back and 31 chest, does that mean I should be a 28c?

Just doesn't seem possible for the cup size my boobs are tiny!
What am I doing wrong here?

This is not new, yeaarrrs ago I was a student studying fashion particularly body form wear including bras. Twenty years ago we were making bras using this method, it's only bloody stupid m&s who try to brain wash women into their ludicrous sizing.

Yeah that makes sense (am ewa michalak fan under a NC!!!)
Just pondering as I'm wearing a 34 band bra today and it fits well but I could drop down to a 32 if I wanted

I think when you're used to wearing too loose a bra that the "correct" size feels really tight. But that feeling goes away after the first few days and then it feels much more supportive. I used to think I was a 36D and that I must have a strange shape body because the bit between the cups never laid flat against my skin like it's supposed to. I'm actually a 30GG and how have a properly fitting bra.

I'm not fooled into thinking I'm a blanket 30c kind of view bra sizing like clothes sizing being different, the b's were really tight they marked me within minutes or I struggled to pull straps together on some bras. I did all the tests, like checking gap between the back and strap, and making sure all boobage was in cup and no overhang under arms etc.
I won't order online for this reason.

Happy atleast got one!

StatisticallyChallenged · 14/11/2015 21:00

Wasn't assuming you were fooled - more just a useful FYI as some brands are more reliable barometers than others! It doesn't surprise me that a marks 30C worked at all, given their recent sizing issues.

I admit I hadn't done any research into who sells decent bras I just went to shopping estate spotted marks and Spencer and dived in.Grin il shop around more next time.
