£10 voucher for boden but can't find anything to buy

I don't want to buy some overpriced tat just for the sake of getting 10 quid off.

Has anyone found anything amazing this season?

Nothing amazing, but bought a child's t-shirt that was reduced to £10.80. I had a £10 gift voucher code Boden sent me, plus a free delivery code so that t-shirt cost 80p - perfect stocking filler, am delighted!

onemouseplace · 21/10/2015 18:50

I bought DD a party dress, with the £10 voucher plus 20% discount and free p&p it worked out as 50% off.

chariotsofire · 21/10/2015 19:33

I bought DD a duffel coat as they are reduced at the moment, also got free delivery with code.

Pippidoeswhatshewants · 21/10/2015 19:37

I got dd the glow in the dark pjs. She loves them!
Boden baby bodies are very nice, too. Do you have any baby gifts coming up?

I have to admit that I sometimes struggle to find anything at all from there.

ouryve · 21/10/2015 20:01

I ended up using one mainly on stuff for DS1. The boys' stuff is quite nice.

camtt · 21/10/2015 20:03

looking at a shirt, a top or PJs - would reduce the cost to something I am possibly prepared to pay but not sure yet. Might have a look at kids things now though

swisscheesetony · 21/10/2015 20:16

I'm with others, a ten pound voucher buys a t-shirt for DC.

OnlyHereForTheCamping · 21/10/2015 20:44

Thanks, I think I will buy a dress for dd. she is obsessed with a horrific sequinned over priced thing. Am trying to talk her down to a more sensible affair.

Same here - in the end bought a boys t-shirt for £3. Women's stuff way overpriced even with £10 off and most of it not very nice either.

Nearlyadoctor · 21/10/2015 21:13

Used mine to buy Dd a Johnnie B jumper she wanted - originally £42 reduced already by 50% then used 20% off code plus voucher so I think cost me about £6.50 !! And actually it is lovely and soft ( navy with a grey cat wearing sunglasses).

Nearlyadoctor · 21/10/2015 21:16

Have your all got your husbands/ partners signed up for accounts as well? Just remembered mine got sent a voucher about 2 weeks before I did and again went on dd. ( glow in dark owl pj's with 20% etc on top so about £9).

He's never ordered a thing but I signed up his email and he gets a voucher sometimes even when I dont...

JemimaMuddledUp · 21/10/2015 22:03

I used mine to buy a top for DD. It was £19 but I used the 15% off code to bring it down to £16.15 with free p&p and then the £10 voucher to make it £6.15.

Pippidoeswhatshewants · 22/10/2015 07:49

Is anybody ever buying anything full price? Shock

OnlyHereForTheCamping · 22/10/2015 08:57

nearlyadoctor Cat jumper is great. How is the sizing? Dd is nearly 12 should I get the 13-14? Also what 20% code? I didn't think it was possible to add on codes on top of reductions

YetAnotherUserName · 22/10/2015 09:04

Where's my voucher? Johnny obviously doesn't love me this year.

OnlyHereForTheCamping · 22/10/2015 09:08

I got 2

OP posts:
Nearlyadoctor · 22/10/2015 12:08

Onlyhere my dd is 8 and a half and I ordered 9-10 so a bit big, will need to turn the sleeves back to start with and length wise covers her bottom. I'm not how generous Johnny B sizing is as only just venturing out of mini boden. I used A2G2 code because as the jumper is already reduced its not code stacking and more importantly it worked.

Nearlyadoctor · 22/10/2015 12:20

Onlyhere just tried the code and it now doesn't give the extra 20% - I think it was a glitch and they have now corrected it. It was mentioned S&B thread and it was nearly 2 weeks ago I placed my order. ( just double checked invoice paid £6.80)
I have to say if you have a voucher I think it's still Bargainous at £14

OnlyHereForTheCamping · 22/10/2015 12:32

Yes, it still is a bargain, it was worth a try. Have purchased the jumper. Dd will be devastated that I haven't bought the ridiculous sequinned number but heh ho. Thanks for all the advice folks

Yes,i used my voucher for a dress for my dd. Cost me £3 in total. Was very pleased :)

MiracletoCome · 22/10/2015 18:58

I actually got a voucher this time and there was nothing I wanted, the stuff seemed more expensive than ever and I have no small child to buy for. There was nothing in clearance either so not wanting too waste my voucher I bought myself the 3 pairs of long, highly coloured socks to wear under my boots Smile, I also used 20% discount code.

SuckingEggs · 22/10/2015 19:00

Slippers for DC. Lovely!

hattymattie · 22/10/2015 19:03

I just got myself a T shirt - it had 15% off and I added the voucher so seems OK. Agree though, I used to love loads of stuff and now there is much more viscose and the quality of some of their knitwear is not as good as it used to be.

SnozzberryPie · 22/10/2015 19:06

I didn't get a voucher Sad

I got one a while ago and was going to get some tights, then had a last minute change of mind and bought dd a cute hat. She wore it once and lost it. Still wish I'd bought those tights.

Doyouthinktheysaurus · 22/10/2015 19:13

I bought a belt with mine a few weeks back. I think they had 20% off as well. Ended up nearly half price.

Their belts are good quality and they last.
