Why can't I find a long chemise-style nightdress that isn't satin?

My preferred style of nightie is a chemise: v neck, thin straps.
Don't like much round my shoulders as it makes me too hot.

But I want a long one- I get really cold kness, so want something that I can tug over them.

There are plenty of above knee chemises in the fabrics I like...cotton jersey or modal. But for some reason someone has decreed that all long chemises MUST be satin, or lacy or silk! I don't want these fabrics

I bought a couple for M&S a couple of years ago and they have worn really well but they won't last much longer.

Any suggestions please?

John Lewis had one when I was in there a few months ago, 100% cotton. Have you checked their website?

Thanks for your suggestions.

Despite looking for several weeks and finding nothing I liked, I found just the ticket on Figleaves at half price just after starting my thread!
