zippitippitoes · 04/12/2006 16:37

I was thinking Channel rouge must be on Sky

expatinscotland · 04/12/2006 16:38

i LOVE it. it looks fab on me - i have yellow undertones to my skin and dark hair and eyes.

it's one of my fav nail polishes.

it's on my fingernails right now.

looks best w/very short nails.

noddyholder · 04/12/2006 16:38

I still love it after all these years Classic I agree if you don't love it you don't!

nailpolish · 04/12/2006 16:38

i am wearing it and keep catching glimpses

one time itll be "oh v stylish" others itll be "oh you witch"

I got this last Christmas and initally didn't like it as I'm quite pale but if I use a tiny bit of self tan on my hands I love it and especially think it's lovely next to silver/white gold/platinum jewellery

i think short, maybe just a third of a cm over the top of your finger

chanel doesn't chip easily. i use a top coat from sally hansen, though.

i use it on my toes as well. depends on my mood- sometimes i like essie 'madamoiselle' on my fingernails or chanel 'beige', which my airline hostess aunt sources in japan - haven't see it here.

nailpolish · 04/12/2006 16:41

Ooh, I like Marilyn by Chanel. Bright pink. I want it, but haven't treated myself yet.

DonnerDasherDancerDior · 04/12/2006 16:44

Only for toes BTW!

noddyholder · 04/12/2006 16:45

agree short nails and it looks fab Even really short nails look good with it Your outfit sounds lovely.

expatinscotland · 04/12/2006 16:47

i've not seen it online, naily. where?! ooooo.

i've got some left, and some more en route, but she's retiring soon.

i love beige. i like 'madamoiselle', too.

Ooh I love Rouge Noir, also wear it on short fingernails (and sometimes toenails but not at the same time....)
But I prefer Chanel Koala, very similar to Rouge Noir but more brown, suits me better
Has anyone here managed to get hold of the new black one yet (Black Satin I think?), I want it!!!!!

littlemadam · 06/12/2006 18:08

Love it on toes, but not confident enough for fingers!!

FairytaleOfNewNorksBride · 06/12/2006 23:24

I swing between Rouge Noir (grown-up) and Berlingot (sugar pink v. girly).

However, I have a terribly upsetting vertical split in my thumb nail so now I'm mostly just plain French manicure. - and not even festively sad!
