Best stick on boobies - or should I just go with tit tape?

I have brought myself a backless dress for the party season so seeing as I can't wear a bra I need a recommendation for good stick on boobie things.

Or, as the title says, should I use tit tape instead?

the word boobie makes me feel queasy

sweetheart · 04/12/2006 15:54

Haven't tried either, sorry. But have often thought of trying the tape. (Although I'd probably avoid the cheapie Claire's Accessories version - don't want everything to collapse halfway through the evening!)

MrsBadger · 04/12/2006 16:04

is this to support you or conceal you?

tape is fine for keeping strapless dresses up, deeply slashed necklines attached etc but doesn't do much in the way of holding you up.

The stick-on cups from La Senza are meant to be pretty good, or the ?JML ones from Woolworths, but as I am Small of Nork I haven't tried either myself

nailpolish · 04/12/2006 16:04

tit tape can be good, but it depends on the material of the dress

silky satiny material is a no hoper with tit tape

debenhams is where i got mine if you do decide to go for that

i think they also do the stick on bras

in the lingerie dept

sweetheart · 04/12/2006 16:07

there really isn't that much to collapse!

umm, well I have quite small boobs (they have shrunk from a C cup to an A cup ) so it's more to sort of pad them out and make them look a bit bigger. Also the dress fabric is sort of shiffon and you can see my nipples poking out when I'm cold so it's to hide that too. So I would say to support (or perhaps enhance) and conceal!

hmm - if it's more nipple-hiding than boosting needed, these might be worth a bash...

MrsSpoon · 04/12/2006 16:15

I saw someone handling what looked like chicken fillets in Aldi today, very strange, they sell all sorts in there. Might be worth a look if you have one nearby.

Hi

I needed something like this on Friday night. I ended up getting a totally strapless bra from La Senza (bought it in Debenhams and they have 20% off until 7th Dec). It has sticky tabs at the side to hold it in place and I loved it, gave me more cleavage and made me look bigger busted than I am but no straps at all! It was a bit
like this except it wasn't made of silicone and was black and had sticky tabs at the side (but hopefully it will give you an idea!)

Was going to made a separate thread to shout about how great I thought it was!

Lucy
