Help me pick an eyeshadow palette

I've been browsing for a while and have narrowed it down to a few but can't decide which one to go with. I will only be purchasing 1 for now as they're on the pricey side.

Here's the ones I like the look of:

UD Naked 1 & 2
Too Faced Chocolate Bar
Too Faced Natural Eyes
Too Faced Boudoir Eyes

As well as them , I'm open to suggestions for others. As you can guess I'm looking for more 'natural' palettes with a mix of mattes and shimmers .

Unfortunately I'm hours away from the nearest shop that might stock these and other higher end stuff so can't test them at the moment, but I'm off to Cardiff in 2 weeks so can hopefully buy and test stuff then.

Goodasitgets - thank you! Good job DP is bringing a steady flow of tea , looks like I'm going to be here a while browsing ! I'm looking through make up revolution now and lots of things are jumping out.

Jellyjiggles - what's the name of the palette you got from revolution if you don't mind me asking ?

Annarose - Yep, that Mac palette is pretty much spot on colour wise . That's added to the list Grin
I did see the basics dupes. Will have to wait until payday for them.

I have Nakeds 1 and 3. They are a bit prices but not so much if you break it down into price per eye shadow. I think Urban Decay have released a fourth palette recently - maybe a smokey one? What I'd really like them to do is release a Naked mattes palette as some of the frosty shades aren't very tenacious and the glitter ends up under my eyes too.

For ultimate pigment and colours I do use makeup geek eye shadows but it's US based. $6 an eyeshadow, and the mattes are like butter. You have to get a Z palette to put them into (they sell them)
This is part of my collection of them, shipping is quick and customer service spot on

I do love some of the make up geek blushes. I like brands where you can build your own palette.

I may have just bought a load of stuff off make up revolution Blush 2 of the chocolate palettes , a blush palette and some other bits. Oops.

Happy shopping then Grin
I must try the makeup geek blushes

I hate it when I find loads of nice things all at once. I have no patience , I want everything now Sad

Luckily DP has promised to buy me a new MAC lipstick and liner when we go to Cardiff in 2 weeks Grin

Goodasitgets I need those four bottom right colours, they are lovely!

I keep meaning to put an order in for some make up geek shadows but I hate waiting ages for things to arrive.

I did order the Morphe 350 palette about 3 weeks ago and still haven't got it.

Op, I have the revolution mattes palette as for the price it's amazing. I also use one of the shadows to do my eyebrows and prefer how they turn out over the more expensive anastasia brow whizz.

goodasitgets · 17/10/2015 22:25

Bottom 4 are chickadee, bitten, cocoa bear and a foiled one called grandstand

GingerFoxInAT0phat · 17/10/2015 22:28

Do u watch jaclyn hill tutorials? They are colours she uses all the time. She started my obsession with warm toned reddy brown eyeshadows that seem really hard to find over here.

goodasitgets · 17/10/2015 22:30

Sometimes yeah! I love bitten so much - wearing it today with creme brûlée and mac coppering

goodasitgets · 17/10/2015 22:31

Rubbish pic but these colours

That is so pretty! I have just bought a body shop eyeshadow that is very similar called Golden Cinnamon.

goddessofsmallthings · 17/10/2015 23:48

Experience has taught me that if I buy eyeshadow palettes containing an extensive amount of colours most of them end up unused while my favourites rapidly become empty.

I now stick to smaller palettes from Kanebo and New CID, which are the most longlasting eyeshadows I've found in my far too many hours of trawling round beauty counters, and buy online usually from eBay.

W7 pallettes are fantastic. I'm so snobby about makeup but they're brilliant. And about a fiver instead of £38. I use my W7 naked dupe way more than any of my chanel or dior shadows. The quality is excellent.

Doobigetta · 18/10/2015 10:15

I had the Too Faced natural palette, and I loved it. I buy Bobbi Brown single shadows now though because I use the pale colours about ten times faster than the dark ones, and it annoys me when they get out of kilter.

ExplodingCarrots · 18/10/2015 14:38

Goodasitgets them colours look awesome!

I can't wait for the W7 palettes to get here now. I've also bought the chocolate palette dupes from make up revolution.

I think I'm defo going to order the flawless mattes palette from make up revolution. Looks amazing

The W7 palettes are fantastic for the price, just as good as the Naked ones which I don't rate at all
The too faced choc bar though is a different class, it's far and away better than the Naked palette. Debenhams usually have the palettes out as testers so it might be worth you going and testing the colours yourself before you buy

ExplodingCarrots · 18/10/2015 18:00

Xici I'm glad everyone is saying the w7 palettes are good.

I think I'm going to spend my afternoon in Cardiff testing everything.

I also need to buy a concealer if anyone has recommendations ? Needs to be medium - full coverage

Benefit boing is a great concealer as is the benefit fake up. The Nars one is also excellent but more £££
