Perfect jeans - can't believe it!

To everyone that has recommended Levi's Demi Curve jeans - THANKYOUSOMUCH!

Usually have to buy a 14-16 and cope with huge flappy waistband. Bought a pair of Demi Curve skinnies with a 31" waist (not a huge difference but Levi's are usually very small on me) and it's like I've found the Holy Grail.

Amazing fit, no unflattering crotch tightness, fit my large bum and hips like a glove and the waist is not flappy (I do need a belt but next pair will be a 30". I bought these from Ebay to check if they were right for me before shelling out full price). Very happy indeed - can now wear normal tops with jeans instead of tops down to my knees to cover either excess material or muffin top. Grin

Levis don't make the curve jeans anymore which is a shame, but they have a new range out to take its place.

I read in yesterday's local paper 70% of people in our local large town are overweight or obese. Sadly, I think it is true from what I see when I go into town.

DS used to have swimming lessons in this town, and I was always a bit surprised at how true this is. Before he went to school his lessons in the baby pool were often at the same time as school lessons, and some classes were all closer to being 100% overweight.

My DC were also born the the hospital in this town, and there was an awful lot of pregnancy (and baby) nutrition education along the lines of "you do not need to eat for 2". The only time I have ever felt skinny was when I went for a Gestational Diabetes test at this hospital, 7 months pg!

No more curve?? Ffs, why does this always happen? Find something I love and then they stop doing it!

Dexter do you know what they're replacing it with?

Bunbaker · 17/10/2015 21:16

I have just been on the Levi site and they now do a Curvy 800 range. It has mixed reviews though. They still have lots of demi curve to sell.

Ah yes, BRS you know where I mean. It's depressing isn't it. Were the lessons at the Metrodome?

BikeRunSki · 17/10/2015 21:21

The Levis website has a range of "Revel Demi Curve" jeans - maybe this is the replacement range?

Bunbaker, Metrodome, yes. Once a week for the best part of 5 years. Started with mum and baby group swimming when he was 7 weeks old, then break when I was pg with DC2 and couldn't move without throwing up, then preschool lessons up until the day before he started school.

We now have lessons at a private gym in H. (We are between B, H and W) - the clientele are markedly slimmer. Which is also rather depressing.

since having babies, I have extra around waist and hips/ bum. I find the New Look 'skinny' fit are great. They don't dig into waist, flatter my curves and show off my slim lower legs, not suitable for chunky calves. Only £7.99 this is a great price as I need to get new jeans every year due to inner thighs rubbing and creating holes.

For high waisted jeans try M&S. All their jean styles come up as a totally different shape, size and fit, but if you try on 10 you will probably find 1 you like. They have loads of stretch too. They do a few high waisted styles, and recently had 1 which didn't gape at the waist.

Came on to comment on the £22 price tag MN recommends have put on the Levis. I love them to bits, but the only place I've paid this little for them is in US (dollar equivalent, obvs). Are they selling Demi Curve off cheap since they're being discontinued might have to go on a shopping spree and stock up ?
