Got DD1 & DD2's outfit at the ready. Dh will be easy(ish) - me, OTOH, has no idea.

If you've got our outfit planned, please can you share or can you advise me ?

I am 5ft 3, brown shoulder length hair, brown eyes, size 10ish.

Need something comfortable & stylish (is this poss?) & something that can be worn with....slippers ( I loathe heels/cold feet).

Help !!

Do we need a special outfit?

I'll be wearing something comfy, the kids will wear the usual...we are chilling in the house and perhaps going for a country walk so I'm not dressing up!

I love dressing up a bit for christmas day

I'm about the same height as you though just one (ok two or three) dress sizes bigger than you...any way, I'm wearing a lovely red cross over top and a pair of wide leg velvet trousers....the only thing with this is I do carry weight on my tummy unfortunately and this might be a bit clingy over the tummy, but I think I might just feel a bit too dressed up if I team the top with a skirt. hmmmm.

But for you at a size ten I think a cross over top and wide trousers would be really flattering and comfortable too.

sounds great ! I've got a wobbly bottom, rather than a wobbly tum

Where are you getting your crossover top from ?

I am desperate to steal ideas

Think i will slob out in PJ's all day this year!

I like those short sleeve jumpers that you wear over a long sleeve top - they come in really nice colours like dark red and petrol blue - would look great with jeans or trousers.

black shorts, light cotton shirt - crossover bodice with black embroidery along the cross over and the side splits.

dds - shorts and t-shirt

know that is no help but it could be in the mid 30's and I will be about 27 weeks pregnant!!

in the UK - wore nice jumper/top and skirt when we went to other people's places. At home - jumper/long sleeved shirt and jeans.

I am wearing my new Celia Birtwell dress from Topshop wot DH has bought me as an early Christmas present. I wore it last week for DD's concert and it made me feel really special. Except that it has a scoop neck with little ties which I discovered at one point in the evening DD had undone so I was showing a little more norkage than actually intended. Thankfully I wasn't wearing one of my greyer bras.

Im nearly 5months pregnant with my third so its maternity clothes for me. A black gypsy skirt and black vest with white lace insert, will still look nice but ive found lots of clothes in the shops i would love to wear but wont fit into

For going out and about i will be wearing my black high heel boots (will look great and wont be on long enough to hurt!!) but when i take them off my groovy christmas socks will be on show. This year they are red/navy stripe with bells on so they may spoil the whole look but who cares its christmas

QuootiepiesChristmasName · 14/12/2006 02:28

DS - something cute, 1st Christmas. Now we have to go out () I might buy him some red dungarees I saw in mothercare... possibly a santa hat aswell

DH - Jeans most probably, and a rugby top

Me - ooooooooooooh, I just don't know! Might wear my green velvet jacket- freeze, but look good

Probably jeans with various bits of Christmas dinner ingredients splattered down them
