Can you advise on hair colour by my colouring (pic)

Well a bit of a picture. Hairdressers booked for tomorrow.

I'm naturally mousey but have had blonde highlights for years. I don't mind them but wonder if the suit me. My skin has changed as I get older and I'm more pinky with red blotches.

I have purposely not included my hair so you have a blank canvass.

You have cool colouring so any colour that you have should be cool. So ashy tones, not warm caramel or golden colours

I think black would look good on you actually?

Ash is what I have already. I have very fine hair, with black I think you would see my scalp, plus I think it would look to harsh at my advancing years.

This chocolate brown looks nice with your colouring?

Would suggest that you keep it cool toned but not too dark or light.

I will go armed with some images and see what the hairdresser advises. It's a new one but she has come recommended so fingers crossed.
