Eyebrows need a tidy - is threading v painful?

I'm lucky in the eyebrow dept in that they don't need a lot of maintenance - I tried to pluck the untidy bits and it bloody hurt.

I use veet (I. Know.) and really need to get myself sorted out.

Any tips?

Meh, it's fine.

As you can see from this thread, everyone has different experiences, so definitely at least try it.

My threader has me hold the skin taut - that probably helps.

It's worse when you leave it too long between sessions, but definitely worth it anyway. Cheap and the effects are really good.

I have a question though - I quite often get a little nick in the skin below my brow for threading. I guess where the thread catches the skin. Is this because I'm holding the skin too taut? Or not taut enough?

It's not an inexperienced threader. She literally does it all day, every day. (She might be slightly indifferent though!)

I have gone to people who hurt me like crazy.

I found a new lady to do mine and she is really gentle. It hurts in places though. Sometimes I can't feel any pain then she gets to a bit that fucking kills, but at least it doesn't kill throughout.

One lady I went to made me bleed Hmm

I need mine done again tomorrow. I figure that as I'm getting my tattoo done I might as well get both over and done with in one day.
