Im that keen on this years offerings from Clarks ( though I suppose I could possibly be be tempted by these if there was a really good discount code around (20% or more) . Not sure about the stacked heel though would really prefer flatter ones ..

Black , but dont want fleecy linings either..
Any thoughts?

Have you tried ebay for replacements? Or maybe a Brantano store?

Laska5772 · 23/09/2015 17:50

Yes I have thunderbird and Amazon but sadly cant find any my size.. (need size 5) Ive had them resoled twice now , but I dont think they will take doing a third time..

Its so annoying when you find something perfect and cant get it again.. ( I should have bought two pairs .. or 7!! Grin)

I had the National Sugars too Laska and loved them. Mine too are beyond wearing this winter. I need a wide fit and I'm disappointed in Clarks range of boots this year.

magicpuppy · 23/09/2015 19:39

I'm considering these boots but not sure about the fur.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 23/09/2015 19:42

What do the National Sugars look like?

I haven't found Clarks boots as good this year.

I tried these which were horribly uncomfortable and these which just didn't fit/look right on my feet. I might try these.

WendyTorrance · 23/09/2015 19:42

I have a £10 off code for Clarks if that's any use?

But then I bet everyone who bought school shoes there recently has one!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 23/09/2015 19:43

I've got these or something v similar in both brown and black, and find them perfect for a walk in the park but v casual!

magicpuppy · 23/09/2015 19:44

these beauties

babsmam · 23/09/2015 19:46

I too love national sugar. Maybe we should bombard Clarks and get them brought back

magicpuppy · 23/09/2015 19:48

I think we should babs. I remember loads of posters on MN buying them at the time. There were several threads about them.

babsmam · 23/09/2015 19:49

The orinoco bloom look nice. I like the fur, is it fully lined inside?

Laska5772 · 23/09/2015 19:51

wendy £10 code is good! can you pm me it ( ididnt get school shoes My DS is 25!!

Remus but are those knee hight boots? the National Sugar were calf length , which I really liked . They are stil around on ebay and amazon in smaller or larger sizes but not 5 or 6 it seems

babsmam · 23/09/2015 19:51

Reunite go gtx look OK. From Clarks
Sorry can't link on phone.

ShakespearesSister01 · 23/09/2015 19:55

Have you tried an outlet like Street?

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 23/09/2015 20:25

Yes, mine are knee length. I like ankle or knee high, personally - calf high don't work on me.

Laska5772 · 23/09/2015 20:34

shakespeare No, Street is too far , but I do live quite near Gunwharf Quays , but these boots are two years old.. so not likely they would have them now .. ( however im that way on Friday, perhaps il give the clarks outlet a go .. they may have some other nice boots from last years season , so yes a good thought..

Anyone who can find me a pair of National Sugar in Black in sz 5 , will get a free Cake and Wine - even if it is only virtual!! !

Just Googled National Sugar and now I really, really want them too.

Blodss · 23/09/2015 23:05

Have you tried ebay for National Sugar. There are quite a few new ones in size 5 on there and other sizes.

MrsJacksonAvery · 23/09/2015 23:21

Ah, I love mine - hoping they make it through their third winter.

Doobigetta · 24/09/2015 06:58

Mine are still going strong, have you lot actually been riding bikes in them?

mewkins · 24/09/2015 07:39

I was going to say, if I had boots that needed resoling twice in a year I wouldn't be going back to the same shop!! I have boots that are about ten years old and still going strong!!

Fab41 · 24/09/2015 08:40

I found myself a pair of size 7 for £49.99 through Google. Hope they are as good as they look!

TreacleFiend · 24/09/2015 09:28

OP, I was also going to buy the Clarks Volara Melody directly from Clarks, but Amazon have them for £98.18 at the moment.

Add the code NEWSTYLE20 and they become £78.54 with free delivery. They're in stock in a 5. Smile
