Jackets for Autumn school runs, not toasty winter ones yet

What are you wearing for the school run?
I have a waterproof for wet days, and a toasty warm Merrell haven for properly cold days. But when it's just chilly I'm stuck. Confused

Something showerproof (at least) and a bit warm.

I'm a SAHM so casual style, I'm usually found in skinny jeans, flat boots/ sandals and cardigans.

I have one of those rainy day Mac things from Boden. Some of them are hideous patterned affairs but I have a nice plain navy one.

I also gave a soft grey Jersey blazer that is quite lovely!

I prefer my winter woollies though, I am happiest wrapped up in lots of layers, bring it on!

Sorry, didn't read the brief, blazer obviously isn't waterproof, just nice on a cooler non-rainy day!

Seasalt do some nice waterproof jackets.

Suddengeekgirl · 16/09/2015 08:34

Thanks for the suggestions. :)

Should have said I'm on a budget so boden and seasalt are too £££.
I'm hoping to find something for under £50. Confused

I have a vintage Boden plain black rauny Mac

CoconutAmericano · 16/09/2015 09:47

Boden rainy day mac in a plain fabric i'd suggest. My beige one has finally given up the ghost after 3 years and i have the black one on order.

A leather jacket is an autumn wardrobe essential Imo. It's warm, but not too warm and it doesn't look like you're ready for winter.
