Used mine today in Baby Gap and saved nearly £50! Girl asked if it was a corporate voucher, I said yes then she asked if I had any ID!! Got a bit of a sweat-on and whilst I was still saying eeeehhhhh the other girl saved me and said 'oh no, its alright she doesn't need any'. The girl I got must've been new.
I'm off to Borders and Threshers tomorrow, thanks again hunker

bettythebuilder · 30/11/2006 21:58

I used mine today!
Didn't get the third degree or the inquisition, although I had a cover story planned about how I work for Southampton city council, moonlight for mytravel and was on a shopping trip in Harrogate.

Oh, and I wore a false moustache, just in case.

Thank you Hunkermunker, dd now has a lovely party frock for her birthday/christmas.

brimfull · 30/11/2006 22:22

thanks for the voucher hunkermunker!
Will try it out tomorrow.

hoxtonchick · 01/12/2006 07:31

i just waved mine vaguely in the direction of the till, she didn't seem that interested....

WonderCod · 01/12/2006 09:25

betty how much was your dicount

cupcakes · 01/12/2006 09:31

used mine yesterday - and no inquisition either. In fact, they barely glanced at it. Didn't spend much though. Got some new socks for me (exciting!) and some leather purses as gifts. We don't have a Gap Kids otherwise I would have spent LOADS.
Thanks danceswithmonkeys for e-mailing me and to Hunker for setting the whole ball rolling.

WonderCod · 01/12/2006 09:32

Oooh I'm scared now - was going to use mine in Manchester tomorrow. Can I say Manchster City Council (I used to work for them - 10 years and two children ago...)?

I said thank you, hunker .
