Are they worth the extra cost?

The DCs hair is fairly easy to brush but the eldest's gets quite tangly.

Home bargains big one is fantastic for our mid thickness, tangly household.

NOPE!

DD has very long fine tangly hair and it's a godsend.

For those of you with thick hair- have you tried the magic flowerpot? By the same people, same concept and it works great on my very thick, very wavy hair.

DD has thick waist length hair and the tangle teezer was ok but took forever to get through all the knots. The we found this Wet Brush a pp mentioned and it is so much better.

I find it good for smoothing DD1's hair into a pony tail, but for actually brushing my Denman hair brush is much better. Dd2 won't let me near her hair with anything.
I also find I'm forever dropping the tangle teezer as it's a funny shape with no handle.

Has anyone managed to clean them?

Ours get hair and lint trapped right in the inner bristles and are a sod to get out.

Yes
