I thought of the fashionistas when I chose my outfit yesterday so I selected a pair of black tights - Leggings! No! - with my slightly above the knee dress and I went off to the shops.
I spent the trip extremely uncomfortable as the tights slid down and hung precariously low the crotch nearing my knees with each step... The tights were the right size and good armpit hugging M&S style. that did not stop the rapid descent.
A big contrast to a trip to london the day before when I wore a shortish dress and a pair of sensible black M&S leggings with a nice wide waist band that stayed in place. The leggings were comfortable and fairly cropped which suited the weather I was comfortable and properly covered. no droop. Walked around and travelled on trains and sat down on benchs and chased children - all securely clad throughout, no tripping over a hanging crotch.
So tights I don't think you're ready, for my jelly. I shall remain preferring leggings.
