DH and I are both home from work today and we saw it, he's a plastic surgeon himself and was , said he would never do that and they need some sort of psych assessment. An ethical surgeon would never make someone "look like someone else", inspired by maybe, but not "I want to be xyz". Very shady.

It's a shame. They both look like they could have been quite stunning without so much erm... "enhancing". They remind me of those Bratz dolls.

The daughter as a minor was stripping to fund her and mum's surgery. I think they look grotesque, but that's a matter of taste, to each her own. But, pimping your own daughter out ("sugar daddies") to fund your surgery.

I get the impression that their shit fillers aren't being done with a MSc at the end of their name- probably the girl down the road who advertises on the local buy and sell Facebook page. It certainly doesn't look like a professional job!

I live an area where you sometimes see women like this, though "classier" versions I must admit. They scare my husband to death. When my DDs were toddlers he was afraid to take them to swimming lessons, as the other mums were terrifying.

I saw the story in one of the online papers, still can't quite believe it. How could any mother let her 17yr old pay for her plastic surgery, expecially earning money the way she did? The sad thing is that they both looked lovely before.

I also think This Morning and its repulsive presenters have exploited these people and many like them. People like Schofield help create monsters like Katie Hopkins and take unintelligent women like these two in an equivalent of a Victorian travelling freak show.

I find this thread really horrid. I get these people have done something stupid but I don't understand the need for the hostility towards them. As others have pointed out, the right target for hostility is the culture which promotes the porn queen aesthetic. Save your bile for the Sun, not the people without the strength of mind to understand what rubbish it is.

Yes, shouldn't there be some sort of professional responsibility from cosmetic surgeons? I think 17 is too young for plastic surgery (obviously different if a child has been in a disfiguring accident.) I don't think you can legally get a tattoo at 17, but a boob job is ok?
